Challenge

Their service and effort have been infamously going beyond guests' expectations, however the digital experience wasn't keeping up with their extremely high standard.

Approach

We created a new Digital Blue, refreshing their brand blue so it could be presented cleanly across digital expressions. Their rich photography library was brought forward to showcase on the web pages once the new components were introduced. As a quick-win project, the number of new components we could introduce was limited, so we included versatile components that could serve multiple purposes, events, promotions and quotations among them.

Key design decisions

Room details pages got improved typography and iconography so users could grasp each room's features at a glance, plus an up-sell section enticing users with ways to make their stay even more special. For The Ritz Paris Club spa, we elevated the online experience with a prominent CTA and a user-friendly accordion table for the treatment menu, transforming a lengthy 50+ page PDF brochure into a sleek, accessible design, and showcased additional Ritz Paris experiences through a quick-access promo carousel at the bottom of the page. The e-boutique's navigation and menu were updated and given category introductions, improving both functionality and accessibility.

Reflection

As a quick-win project, the constraint was clear: a limited number of new components had to carry the whole redesign. Making each one versatile enough to serve multiple purposes, events, promotions, quotations, was what let a small component set lift the experience across the site, from room details to the spa menu to the e-boutique, without needing a full rebuild.
